For Women’s History Month 2022 we want to highlight the power of women in real estate. Not just the brokers, agents, lenders, and countless other women that make up the industry, but the driver of any real estate market, the clients.
According to the National Association of Realtors ®, single women are the second-largest group of homebuyers in the market. Considering that women were not legally protected by law to obtain a mortgage by themselves until 1974, these are amazing gains. While we are still battling for equality on a number of fronts, including income inequality, it is heartening to know that women are significant economic drivers of their own power.
